About Us

Lovely Dolls & More by Glenice has been in operation for over 4 years and I have been working very hard to supply my fellow dollmakers with their doll and some teddy needs over that time.

I started off by offering the Dollwear CD Rom program to help in designing pattern for all shapes and sizes of dolls and teddies and I feel it has been a fantastic help to all who have used it. I have been told many times over the years how happy my customers are with it and how they have been able to get that perfect fit enabling them to win prizes for their beautiful creations. Well done!

I started to stock fabrics in silks which are hard to find and then trims to compliment the Dollwear program.

When I opened my studio for teaching, I started to stock accessories for the dolls my students were making.

From there things just grew especially when I travelled interstate to trade at a lot of the large shows. I have had so much fun and made lots of new friends over the years and to be honest I wouldn’t have missed it for quids!

I now stock over 1700 doll molds to be able to provide greenware and finished dolls to both the dollmaker and collectors. Also a good range of accessories including wigs, eyes, shoes, socks and compo bodies.

Plus I still have a good range of Silk and cotton fabrics and trims, buttons and the needs for sewing.

I started teaching classes in 2005 and now hold a number of classes a week for everyone who is interested in learning. I don’t turn anyone away who wants to learn and have been teaching children up to adults. I love to see my students enjoying creating their treasures and encourage them to expand their talents. The greatest joy is to see them take a doll a home that they have just put everything into to and to see the happiness on their faces and then when they enter a competition and come home with a prize.

After I was appointed a Doll Artisan Guild teacher I have been hosting advanced seminars and also teaching the School of Dollmaking apprentice and Beautiful dolls program.

I take pride in what I do and sometimes things take a little time but the results are worth it.

Happy Dollmaking!!
